Who makes the apps?

Peter Theill, a developer in Denmark. He builds the apps himself and answers support himself.

How can the AI work without internet?

The models are built into the app or into iOS and macOS, and run on your device's own chip. What you record, scan or write isn't sent to a server.

When does an app use the internet?

Only when you ask it to, for example when you share a link or a file. A few apps use your own network or your own iCloud: Fjernbetjening talks to your TV over your Wi-Fi, and Kode can sync through your iCloud Keychain.

Why are there no ads?

Because ads need tracking, and tracking needs your data. The apps are made to do one job and then get out of the way.
